Rape Suspect Arrested in Aurora
AURORA – Operatives of Aurora Municipal Police Station conducted police operation at Purok Dahlia, Brgy. Poblacion, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:50 PM of December 23, 2017. This led to the arrest of Jesus Caballero Y Bermudo, 45 years old, with live-in partner, carpenter/mason by profession and a resident of Sitio Tagodalo, Brgy Bayabas, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur.
The accused has standing warrant of arrest for the Crime of Rape through Sexual Assault under article 266-a par. (2) in relation to R.A 7610, issued by Hon. Analyn F Ramas Costanilla, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur, under criminal case # 17-10,1475 with recommended bail of one hundred twenty thousand pesos (P120,000.00). The said person is now temporarily held at Aurora MPS while waiting his commitment order to Ramon Magsaysay District Jail for proper disposition.
